Dunlop Hawthorn Trophy 2010
19 March 2010
An incredible triple tie on 290 points is the outcome of the Dunlop Hawthorn Trophy for 2009. In third place is Gary Miller as he has fewer wins in counting rounds than the other contenders. Both Liam Denning and Alan Watkins have an identical number of wins (6 each) and other placings. The tie is resolved in Alan Watkins’ favour as the Stryker class had a higher average entry level. As the Punto/Uno class had only one round at the Leinster Trophy meeting, the second round at the 23 August meeting has been included in the results to bring the class to eight counting rounds. The Porsche class will have a round at Kirkistown in late September but this will not affect the overall result. The top dozen positions are:
