Motorsport Ireland Strategy 2019-2021

As part of Motorsport Ireland’s ongoing commitment to our sport, the organisation is delighted to launch its new strategic plan, a document which will guide the direction of the organisation until the end of 2021. The plan, has drawn on the knowledge and experience within our sport including  contributions from competitors and fans alike.

The plan is built around 5 key strategic pillars:

•         Modernising the structure of Motorsport Ireland
•         Training
•         Participation
•         Safeguarding the future of the sport, both financial and commercial
•         Communications

Speaking on the unveiling of the plan, Motorsport Ireland CEO Leo Hassett commented; “The unveiling of our new strategic plan is a key milestone for Motorsport Ireland. We have set some real, headline targets to achieve by the end of 2021 and I am confident we can achieve those aims with the work of our fantastic volunteers and by following the key strategic pillars of our plan. I am hugely grateful for all those who had an input into the creation and content of this document. Having survived a challenging period over the last few years, I believe this plan will be a key building block as Motorsport Ireland drives forward with renewed positivity and growth.”

Motorsport Ireland President John Naylor, a key driver behind the plan, said;  “I believe this to be a living document that will impact our sport every week at all events right across the country as it contains real goals identified by real people actively involved in our sport.”

The plan itself is available to view here and physical copies of the plan will be distributed through the club network in the coming weeks followed by road shows which will be held around the country.
