Watch 1998 Irish Formula Ford Highlights from 7pm, Thursday Feb 2nd

Motorsport Ireland will stream RPM's 1998 Ford of Ireland Formula Ford Zetec Championship from 7pm this Thursday.

This week’s Motorsport Ireland – RIAC classic video from the RPM Motorsport collection is highlights from the 1998 Irish Formula Ford Zetec Championship.

1998 was to see the emergence of Neil Shanahan as a real star of the future as these highlights from Mondello and Kirkistown illustrate. His blistering starts and race craft singled him out as a real talent and in 1998 he would secure the Ford of Ireland Championship, the Barney Manley Trophy for the Best Irish International Driver, alongside the Dunlop Sexton Trophy for the second year running.

This programme will be available to stream below from 7pm on February 2nd.
