This week’s special New Year's Eve Motorsport Ireland – RIAC classic video from the RPM Motorsport collection is action from the Belfast City Millennium Motorsport Festival.
The brainchild of RPM’s own Alan Tyndall, the four day Belfast City Millennium Motorsport Festival included a motorsports market, a gala evening, autotests, stunt riders and over 500 vehicles taking part in parades and static displays but the major attraction of the weekend was the festival hillclimb event at Stormont Castle which featured a jaw dropping array of vehicles and drivers including Sterling Moss, Giacomo Agostini, Eddie Irvine, Derek Daly, John Watson, Tommy Byrne, Martin Donnelly, Jimmy McRae as well as then current F1 star Jarno Trulli who attended with Jordan Grand Prix Team and the Honda/Mugen powered Jordan 199.
