Watch the RPM Motorsport 1996 Season Preview from 7pm on Thurs, Jan 7th
This week’s Motorsport Ireland – RIAC classic video from the RPM Motorsport collection is their 1996 ‘Looking Ahead’ show which previewed that year’s season as the RPM cameras attended the Autosport International Show at the NEC in Birmingham.
Alan Tyndall and Jas Tobin caught up with experts and hopefuls ahead of the 1996 season. John Watson talks about Eddie Irvine’s move to Ferrari, World Karting Champion Trevor Roberts summarises his season, Johnny Kane gives his thoughts as he looks towards Formula 1. Meanwhile, Kenny McKinstry, Bertie Fisher, Liam O’Callaghan, Frank Meagher and James Cullen go back to rally school while Cullen also entertains in the live action arena in his Group A Ford Escort Cosworth.
