Max will take on this year’s TCR Asia Championship.

O'Driscolls Irish Whiskey proudly announces an exciting sponsorship of Max Hart, the rising 22 year old professional racing star from County Wicklow. Rooted in bravery and adventure, O’Driscolls Irish Whiskey looks forward to following his daring escapades across the race tracks. 
 
This year, Max takes on the TCR Asia Championship and beyond! With the championship making a long-awaited return after a hiatus induced by the global pandemic, Max is gearing up to tackle iconic tracks in his Hyundai Elantra N TCR across Asia, from the Sepang Formula 1 track in Malaysia to the Shanghai Formula One track in China. Most tracks are between 4-6km and approximately 30 minutes for Sprint races which are both physically and mentally tough – “it’s like going for a 100m sprint but for 30 minutes!” Max mentioned. 
 
Making the switch from karting to cars at the age of 15, Max set his sights on the pinnacle of motorsport: Formula One. However, in a bold move in 2020, Max redirected his ambitions towards touring cars, paving the way for a new chapter in his racing career. O'Driscolls Irish Whiskey are delighted to support him on his venture, fuelling his passion and driving him towards new heights of success.
 
Throughout Max's career, he has encountered numerous dangers inherent in the world of motorsport. From high-speed crashes, including a terrifying incident at the Shanghai Formula 1 track where he collided at 240kph, to a harrowing crash resulting in his car bursting into flames in F1000 racing while driving at over 200kph - Max has faced the perils of the track head-on. Additionally, in his debut year in Formula Vee, he experienced a multi-car collision, going airborne over two cars at just 16 years of age. While frightening, this has never phased Max as he is determined to succeed and continues to push himself and his capabilities on the racetrack.
 
Max documents and showcases his exciting day to day racing life on social media and is the most followed Irish Racing Driver with a fanbase of over 100k followers on TikTok and 25.1k followers on Instagram.
