Garda Vetting

Garda Vetting is conducted in respect of any person who is carrying out work or activity, a necessary and regular part of which consists mainly of the person having access to, or contact with, children or vulnerable persons. In respect of Motorsport this applies to all Children’s Officers, Kart and Race officials, and media personnel at Karting events. Kindly note that an administration fee of €20 must be included with all applications.

Motorsport Ireland created a social media policy to ensure that any individual involved in any form of motorsport in Ireland, which is governed by MI, understand and agree to their responsibilities when using social media and in particular when posting content to any form of social media or to any websites, blogs, forums or message boards.

Complaints

From time to time, an individual may wish to register a complaint with Motorsport Ireland. Please note that our Complaints policy and form is used to address non-competition related complaints. Complaints related to competition must be directed to the relevant Competition Liaison Officer.
