This course was introduced in 2019 and is designed to ensure that all aspects of the duties of the 00 Safety Car crew are understood.
Attendees will come away from this training course with a clear understanding of their roles and responsibilities as 00 Safety Car Crew members and as signed-on event safety officials. 00 Safety official licences are only issued to current and valid Competition Licence Holders.
The specific role of the 00 Safety Car crews is to drive the special stages to ensure that they are properly set up in accordance with the event Safety Plan. The 00 Safety Car check is the final check on the special stage before the first competitor starts each stage.
