The Sunday 28 September event is under the leadership and guidance of first time COC Darren Delaney and his team, with new selectives in store as well as some classic tests, in the foothills of the Slieve Bloom mountains.

Speaking about the event Darren commented “it’s been a pleasure to be involved in leading up the Endurance Trial this year. I have a great and hard-working team around me with vast experience in this discipline. We have picked some new tests which we know competitors are going to love as well as some old favourites, with a mix of surfaces. The tests are predominantly in the Slieve Bloom area, crossing between Offaly and Laois. We are very grateful to the local landowners for hosting us and for their enthusiasm to facilitate our event, we couldn’t run such an event without their help”.

There is also a new event headquarters this year, in Camross Community Centre, which is ideally situated between all the tests. The Motor Club would like to express their gratitude to the community for welcoming them in.

Regulations and entry forms will be released soon — keep an eye on the Birr & District Motor Club website, social media channels and Sportity using “BirrEndurance25”.
