On 17th January, the Irish motorsport community gathered at the Lough Rea Hotel & Spa for the 2025 Top Part West Coast Championship Awards. The Motorsport Ireland Women in Motorsport (WIM) Commission extends its sincere congratulations to the inspiring female competitors who achieved success across multiple classes in this championship.

Award Recipients & Results

The evening celebrated a wide range of talent, with many women securing top-three finishes in their respective categories:

  • Michelle Quinn (Driver) & Caz Somers (Co-Driver): 1st in Class 2A and winners of the Overall Top Part/WIM Award. Michelle competed in her Honda Civic VTi, the car formerly driven by her late sister Katie, making this a deeply emotional and proud achievement for the full female team and the Quinn family.

  • Aishling McArdle (Co-Driver): 1st in Class 11F

  • Ciara O’Connell (Co-Driver): 2nd in Class 2A
