National Endurance Trial Championship 2026 – LAUNCH ANNOUNCEMENT
The wait is over…
The Škoda Parts Ireland National Endurance Trial Championship 2026 is officially launched and it’s set to be tougher, and more competitive than ever with some new events included.
We’re proud to welcome Škoda Parts Ireland back as our title sponsor for 2026, made possible through the valued support of Geoffrey Conboy from Colm Burns Car Sales. Building on the tremendous momentum of previous seasons, the 2026 Championship promises to deliver another thrilling year of endurance motorsport across Ireland.
8 Rounds. 2 Regions. 1 Champion.
The 2026 calendar will feature eight competitive rounds, stretching the length and breadth of the country from the dramatic landscapes of County Kerry in the southwest to the challenging terrain of County Monaghan in the northeast. To ensure balanced national competition, the championship will be divided evenly into two regions.
Competitors must start a minimum of two events in each region to qualify for the f inal championship awards, encouraging participation across the full geographic spectrum of the series. This structure reinforces the championship’s commitment to inclusivity, fairness, and nationwide engagement.
A Championship Proven to Deliver Drama- The 2026 announcement follows what was a hotly contested 2025 season, where margins were tight and competition fierce throughout the year. Among the standout performers were Owen Murphy and Patrick O'Sullivan, who thrilled spectators in their striking Trusty Red Toyota Yaris, pushing the championship battle to the very limit. Their performances exemplified the competitive spirit and determination that defines the National Endurance Trial Championship.
A Strong Partnership for 2026- The backing of Škoda Parts Ireland, facilitated through Geoffrey Conboy of Colm Burns Car Sales in Sligo, represents a significant endorsement of the championship’s continued growth and professionalism. This partnership will once again enhance the profile of the series while supporting competitors and organisers alike as the championship continues to evolve.
Looking Ahead- With a dynamic calendar, proven competitive depth, and strong commercial backing, the 2026 National Endurance Trial Championship is set to be one of the most exciting seasons yet.
