Quinn & Somers nominated for Kerry Sports Star Awards

The return of the Kerry Sports Star Awards after a seven-year hiatus has brought massive news for the Kerry rallying community.

Cousins Michelle Quinn and Caz Somers have been officially nominated for their outstanding achievements during the 2025 season.
It was a year defined by grit and raw emotion. The pair secured the Ladies Championship in the Top Part West Coast Rally Series, a victory that culminated in unforgettable scenes at the finish ramp of the Fastnet Rally in Bantry last October.

For Michelle, the win was deeply personal. She was presented with the Katie Quinn Tarmac Queen Memorial Trophy, a cup named in honour of her late sister, Katie, who passed away in June 2024.
In a moment that touched the entire motorsport community, the trophy was handed to Michelle by her mother, Mary, alongside her father, Mike Quinn.

Now, their story moves from the rally stages to the Rose Hotel in Tralee on Saturday, April 11th, as they represent motorsport among the finest athletes in the Kingdom.
