Siobhain McCann claims overall victory at Limerick MC Hillclimb

Rounds 1 & 2 of the Alekto Irish Hillclimb Championship, and counting rounds for the Motorsport Ireland Junior Series, kicked off in style at Limerick this weekend.

At the event held on Saturday 21st March, Siobhain McCann driving her Ray 86F-Hayabusa single-seater race car claimed overall victory from a field of 75 drivers, an incredible achievement.

Leah Kane finished 3rd in Class 1J in a strong field of 11 starters.
Holly Dunnion secured 5th in the same category.

Great performances as well from Kayla O’Sullivan and Elaine Kirwan, a really successful opening day all around.

The great performances continued on Sunday 22nd, with Siobhain McCann again on the podium, claiming 3rd overall.
Leah Kane improved her performance to finish 2nd in Class 1J!
