Ann joined Laois Rallysport Club with a friend around eight years ago and immediately immersed herself in both the club and the sport. She began marshalling at every opportunity, spending most weekends at rallies whenever she was available.
Before long, Ann took the next step into competing, where navigating quickly proved to be her true calling. She has since competed on over 30 events, ranging from rally sprints to forest and tarmac rallies all over Ireland. Most recently, she wrapped up an impressive 2nd place in Class 11F of the 2025 Sligo Pallets Irish Forest Rally Championship alongside driver Christy Butler in his Honda Civic.
When she’s not in the car, Ann can be found giving back to the sport through a wide range of roles, including marshalling, timing, event secretary duties, and serving in the 00 safety car, among many other roles, at rallies around the country.
Three years ago, Ann took on the role of Club Secretary, a position in which she has truly excelled. A hugely popular and dedicated member of Laois Rallysport Club, her commitment and passion were recently recognised when she was deservedly awarded Club Person of the Year 2025.
The Motorsport Ireland Women in Motorsport Commission congratulate Ann on her well-deserved award as Club Person of the Year and also commend Laois Rallysport Club for recognising her outstanding contribution to motorsport!
