Catherine Walsh and Ava O’Driscoll – All-Female Junior Crew at the 2026 Assess Ireland Rally of the Lakes

An all-female crew will take to the stages this Saturday at the 2026 Assess Ireland Rally of the Lakes, with Catherine Walsh and Ava O’Driscoll competing in the junior category in their Honda Civic.

The Junior category is open to drivers under the age of 26. The pair are eagerly anticipating the event, which marks Ava O’Driscoll’s first time competing at this iconic rally. Whilst this is the first time they will compete together at the Rally of the Lakes, both have built up significant experience in recent years in the driver and co-driver seats.

Ava O’Driscoll currently sits 3rd overall in the GK Print Southern 4 Rally Championship, with Walsh in 4th place, as both competitors continue to enjoy a strong season.

With Killarney renowned for its spectacular and challenging stages, the crew are looking forward to leaving parc fermé on Saturday morning and getting their rally underway.
