Strong Irish Performances at the 2025 T4 Nations Cup in Valencia

Ireland enjoyed another impressive showing on the international stage at the 2025 T4 Nations Cup in Valencia, with two Irish drivers securing podium finishes among a record field of 252 competitors.

The five-day event at the Circuito Internacional de Karting Lucas Guerrero brought together drivers from over 30 nations across the Bambino, Mini, Junior, Senior and Senior 168 categories. With 40 Irish competitors making the journey to Spain, Team Ireland once again demonstrated the strength and depth of its grassroots karting talent.

After several days of practice, qualifying heats and finals, it was Jack Harney and Colm Munnelly who led the Irish charge.

In the Mini category, Harney delivered an outstanding performance across the weekend, showing consistency, pace and composure in every session. Battling through a fiercely competitive field, he claimed a well-deserved podium finish, marking one of his best results to date.

In the Senior 168 class, Colm Munnelly showcased experience and determination in one of the event’s most competitive categories. After strong heat results and a confident drive in the final, he secured a podium position, capping off an excellent weekend of racing.

Across all categories, Irish drivers impressed with their speed and teamwork, many achieving personal bests and progressing deep into the finals. The collective performance underlined Ireland’s growing presence in international karting and the continued success of its T4 competitors abroad.

With two podiums and a host of strong results throughout the field, the 2025 T4 Nations Cup was another proud weekend for Irish karting, highlighting both emerging young talents and the established drivers leading the way on the world stage.
